TERM 4, 2024 starting Thursday 24th October for 8 classes (includes one week break for firing) with tutor Jenny Tutu
You will do a bit of everything - hand building techniques (pinching, coiling, slab building).
Each week learn new skills with a different projects. You’ll learn the basics of working with clay, the different stages of the pottery process (making, decorating, joining, refining, bisque firing, glazing and glaze firing).
This class is perfect for beginners aiming to learn the basics.
Firing and glazing included for up to 8 pieces.
Max 12 BEGINNERS $220pp = includes clay, glazing and firing up to 8 pieces.

Fees must be paid on booking for place in class to be confirmed. If you need to pay in instalments, email taradalepottery@gmail.com.
Your firing fees will cover up to 8 pieces of work. If you have more than this that you want to finish off, additional charges will apply.
Your class fee covers 8 weeks of tuition from the advertised dates, if you cant attend a class there is no option to do a different class as a make-up. All classes are booked up and there are no spare wheels. You may do a casual class as a make-up class, note there is no tuition on these nights but you are able to practice what you have learnt so far.
Taradale Pottery Club reserves the right to postpone classes should unforeseen circumstances arise such as tutor illness, special events at the club premises. We will do our utmost to provide an uninterrupted block of 8 weeks of classes but sometimes events or circumstances beyond our control will prevent this from happening. Your tutor will communicate with you should this be the case - there will be 8 classes in total.
